The MicroCal ensures that the frequent checking of thermometer accuracies is a simple routine operation.

The instrument is designed to simulate any chosen temperature, allowing standard K or T thermocouple thermometers to be tested, checked or recalibrated simply and quickly, without the need for additional specialised equipment or conversion tables.

The MicroCal 2 has 12 preset temperatures which can be modified and saved by the user. The factory default temperatures can be recalled at any time. The MicroCal 3 has 23 fixed temperatures. Both models feature a custom 10mm LCD display with alpha-numeric display line to prompt the user when changing parameters. Selectable

°C/°F, auto off enable/disable and display contrast adjustment are also available.

Each MicroCal is supplied with a one metre PVC lead with miniature thermocouple connector and a five-point UKAS Certificate of Calibration. Each certificate indicates deviations from standards at the various check points.

The professional RayTemp 38 gun-shaped, heavy duty, infrared non-contact thermometer is fast and easy to use, perfect for the professional who requires high temperature surface measurement. Simply aim, pull the trigger and read the temperature on the clear LCD display.

The 30:1 target ratio enables the user to measure small targets at a greater distance utilising the laser dot alignment, useful for awkward or tight spaces .

The instrument features an easy to use four-button keypad, allowing the user to turn on/off the various functions. The unit measures surface temperature over the range of -50 to +1000°C with a 0.1°C or 0.1°F resolution and an accuracy of ±1.5% of reading.

The industrial infrared thermometer's emissivity is preset at 0.95 however, this can be adjusted from 0.10 to 1.0. Each industrial infrared thermometer is protected by rugged rubber over moulding and is supplied in a protective ABS case that includes a 9 volt MN1604/ PP3 battery
