This battery powered GSM alarm unit can monitor up to 4 digital or analogue inputs ( 4-20mA or 0-10V ) and send SMS text messages at preset intervals or on alarm. It is able to power 4-20mA devices, and is therefore ideal for monitoring, pressure, level, temperature, humidity etc. Each of the 4 inputs can be individually setup for a digital input, or analogue input with custom scaling for the process range. System
This system connects sensors and process signals via radio transmitters
to a central base station with a built in data logger. The system can
handel up to 250 channels and has a range of up to 2-3 kilometers. Repeaters
can be used to extend the range. The radio transmitters can take voltage,
4-20 mA, thermocouple and thermistor inputs. The logger/base station
records the data and also provides alarm outputs ( relay outputs and
SMS text messaging ) together with a PC real time display with chart
views and mimic displays.

Signal conditioning and digital transmitter
The DigiRail line of smart
transmitters with Modbus RTU communication interface provide a
simple way for integrating analogue or digital signals to
supervisory systems. Featuring up to two universal input
analogue signal channels they are the most economical way to
deliver analogue inputs to PLC´s and SCADA systems. The input
signals are isolated from power thus protecting the electrical
instruments by eliminating ground loop effects.
