| The R-Lite is an easy-to-use GSM/GPRS Remote Terminal Unit RTU. Although flexible, it designed to be operated by anyone. The R-Lite is an affordable GSM/GPRS RTU providing a reliable and complete solution for common usages. Practical, simple, quickly configured, the RLite is an outstanding tool providing efficient results with minimal effort.
The R-Lite can either be used as standalone unit or it can be added to aPLC. If you have a PLC, then the R-Lite can be used as a cellular gateway to establish an interactive communication with your PLC. With the R-Lite connected to a PLC you can get SMS messages to inform you about the indicated values of sensor(s), connected to the PLC. Moreover, you can ask your PLC to give the current indicated value(s) of its sensor(s) simply by sending SMS message. The R-Lite contains one output, two digital inputs and one RS232 connector. It comes with an extremely user friendly application software for easy configuration.
Maintenance and configuration can either be done through the RS232 connector or from remote, using a cellular modem. Light in weight and compact in size the R-Lite is a great versatile all-around tool for HMI communication.
RLite: The system includes the following modules:
- Two digital Inputs/Outputs.
- Two analogue 4-20mA inputs
- One digital output relay.
- Module GSM ( Telit).
- RS232 for communication with external devices.
- Protocols module (e.g. Modbus, Unitronics, etc.).
- Configuration software for PC.
RLite advantages:
