MAG3-Triaxial Magnetometer, Accelerometer and Gyro
The MAG3 sensor provides analogue outputs of triaxial magnetic field, acceleration and angular rate (gyro). The MAG3 product suite is capable of sensing +/-1.9 gauss, +/-150 - 1200 ¬?/s angular rate and +/-2 - 5g acceleration about three axes.
The MAG3 sensor provides analogue outputs of triaxial magnetic field, acceleration and angular rate (gyro). The MAG3 product suite is capable of sensing +/-1.9 gauss, +/-150 - 1200 degrees/s angular rate and +/-2, +/- 5g and +/- 10g acceleration about three axes. MAG3 provides analogue outputs for angular rate, acceleration and precision references about the X, Y, and Z-axes. A temperature output is also provided allowing the implementation of compensation techniques. A digital self-test input electromechanically excites each axis to test proper operation of the sensors and the signal conditioning circuits. The MAG3 is based on MEMS technology and is available in a custom 44-pin SMT package measuring 18 × 18 × 10 mm.
