MiniAir6/64 Schiltknecht Anemometer Intrinsically Safe Version

The MiniAir 6/64 is an intrinsically safe ( Atex approved ) airflow sensor, which is ideal for monitoring airflows in ducts, fume cupboards, flumes and chimneys, which are classified as hazardous areas. Sensors are suitable for use up to 140 deg C continuously. The sensor is supplied with 20 metres of cable which connects to a signal conditioning unit, with an integral zener barrier. The signal conditioning unit provides either a 0-2v or 4-20mA signal. The signal conditioning unit is installed in the safe area. The MiniAir6/64 like other MiniAir models features the unique Snap Head on types Micro and Mini, providing on-site serviceability, thus making it ideal for continual measuring.

In anemometry, the accuracy achieved by a vane probe is acknowledged to be unmatched. The vane rotation is closely linear to flow velocity and is unaffected by pressure, temperature, density and humidity.

Units are available for class I and class II applications, certified for use in zone 0, 1 , and 2
